About Lilli
I am a Physics with Astrophysics graduate with previous experience tutoring maths for KS2 SAT’s and GCSE’s. During my degree I worked in a school for a ‘physics in education’ module - a module I chose because I had considered becoming a teacher. I love to get involved with science communication wherever possible and aim to make lessons fun and interactive.
Currently I am in the final stages of completing a PhD using machine learning to help reduce the impact of air pollution from traffic.

I aim to make my lessons engaging by breaking them down into 3 parts.
The first is a recap of what was covered in the previous lesson to ensure the student is still happy with that content.
This is followed by either a) more practice on the same topic if needed or b) Learning and practice of a new topic. The practice will build up through question difficulty up to and including exam style questions.
The final part of the session is where we review what we have covered and suggest a topic for the next session.
