About Naomi
I specialise in teaching physics with computational and analytical focus. With over 11 years of experience and an MSc in Nanophysics, I integrate numerical methods, Python programming, and data visualisation into my lessons. Students learn to model physical systems and interpret experimental results effectively. I guide university students and researchers through practical projects that mirror real-world research. Lessons emphasise step-by-step reasoning, algorithmic understanding, and hands-on application. I encourage learners to think critically and test hypotheses through simulations. Mistakes are treated as valuable opportunities for deeper insight. Each session develops both coding proficiency and conceptual clarity. I focus on helping students connect mathematical models to physical understanding. By practising data analysis and visualisation, learners gain confidence and independence. I focus on teaching physics in a practical and interactive way. My lessons include electromagnetism, circuits, waves, optics, and an introduction to quantum physics. I use analogies, simulations, and visual tools to clarify concepts. Engineers and space dreamers receive personalised support to strengthen skills and knowledge. Students explore circuits, visualise wave behaviours, and model optical systems hands-on. Quantum physics is presented in intuitive, approachable ways. I emphasise problem-solving, reasoning, and understanding over rote memorisation. Each lesson illuminates phenomena that often feel abstract. Learners are encouraged to experiment, reflect, and question. Mistakes are treated as steps towards mastery. Students build confidence in both theoretical understanding and practical application. Physics becomes a subject of discovery and exploration. My goal is to help students excel academically and professionally.
