Hey there! I’m Lachie and I'm an undergraduate psychology student at Monash University. I'm passionate about the science of learning and memory, and I specialise in physics tutoring and study skills coaching.

Whether you’re finding physics difficult or looking for an extra challenge, I’ll be more than happy to help! Please read on below for more details on my three-staged approach to tutoring.

1. Consolidating. We want to have a strong foundation for the year, so we’ll start by unpacking challenging content areas.

2. Skill-building. VCE can be stressful, but students who can study efficiently are better prepared to tackle challenges along the way. I help students apply proven study techniques, so that they can make the most of their time.

3. Accelerating. Equipped with understanding and study skills, we'll work through exam questions to build speed and confidence.

I provide both private tutoring and group sessions. Please read on below for more information.

Private lessons ($80/week)
* Personalised lesson plans, tailored to support the unique journey of each student.
* Step-by-step guidance through challenging concepts.
* Regular study check-ins, providing the opportunity to reflect, learn new skills, and strategise for the year.
* Comprehensive notes covering the entire VCE ¾ physics course.
* Available both online and in-person.

Small group workshops ($50/week)
* A comprehensive, structured program covering the entire VCE ¾ Physics course.
* Consistent practice throughout the year, helping students to prepare thoroughly for exams.
* Walkthroughs of how to approach tricky exam questions.
* Access to an extensive library of proprietary practice questions.
* Two weeks free for students who sign up with a friend.

Lachlan has tutored my son Luke throughout 2023. At the start of the year Luke had poor results in Physics and Chemistry. We needed to find the perfect tutor to bring him up to VCE level. That perfect tutor was Lachlan. By the time Luke sat his VCE exams, Physics was his best subject. Lachlan is calm, flexible and gracious.
