About Aahana
I’m a Physics tutor with over 10 years of experience and a BSc in Physics with Computational Science. My teaching blends deep theoretical understanding with modern tools like simulations and virtual labs. These have been especially powerful for exploring thermodynamics and statistical mechanics. I’m passionate about topics like energy transfer, entropy, and how systems behave at the molecular level. I believe abstract concepts don’t have to stay abstract. My teaching approach in Physics is grounded in curiosity and hands-on discovery. I believe that learning science is not just about memorising facts, but about asking questions and testing ideas. I support students who see themselves as DIY scientists and curious explorers, helping them shape their own path in scientific investigation. My lessons often revolve around real-life problems, encouraging students to design experiments, analyse data, and draw meaningful conclusions. We focus on more than just Physics theory. Topics like experimental design, data analysis, error propagation, and scientific reporting are central to how I teach. These skills are essential for confident, independent lab work. I guide students to think critically about each step of the process—how to collect data, identify uncertainty, and report results with clarity. In our sessions, reflection is as important as action. We take time to understand what worked, what didn’t, and how to improve. I encourage learners to explore multiple approaches and find what fits their thinking style. There's no one-size-fits-all in science. Together, we discover new ways to experiment and understand the world. With patience and practical insight, I help learners grow into thoughtful, capable investigators.
