About Adrien
Adrien Brandeis is a French jazz pianist and composer.
After graduating from the Paris Conservatory in Manuel Rocheman's class in 2018, he produced his first album "Euforia" as a quintet which gained international success by performing in Asia (Jazzmandu Festival - Nepal, Kolkata International Jazz Festival - India) as well as becoming the winner of the prestigious Letter One Rising Stars Jazz Award 2018.
This prize, which rewards the best young European jazz artist of the year, allows him to share his music on the biggest European stages in the summer of 2019: Nice Jazz Festival, Umbria Jazz Festival (Italy), Leopolis Jazz Festival (Ukraine), Love Supreme Jazz Festival (England), Heineken Jazzaldia Festival (Spain), Kongsberg Jazz Festival (Norway), JazzOpen Stuttgart (Germany).
On the French scene, he has been awarded many times: Winner of the springboard Jazz in Juan 2017; audience award of the springboard Jazz in Porquerolles 2017.
Very attached to Latin music, he leaves to study in Havana - Cuba, with Ernan Lopez Nussa to perfect his knowledge in September 2019.
These encounters and travels enrich his playing and allow him to write his second album "Meetings", which he records in quartet with Damian Nueva, Arnaud Dolmen, Inor Sotolongo and as a special guest Orlando Poleo. The album will be released in October 2020.
Adrien Brandeis was invited to Mexico to present this album (Festival International de Polanco, Festival International de Irapuato, Ciclo de Jazz del Forum Cultural GTO, Festival Cultural de Mayo en Jalisco), as well as on the French scene (Altitude Jazz Festival, Festival Jazz en Sol Mineur, Festival Musique en Cour, Duc des Lombards)
It is selected as one of the best jazz albums in France of the year 2020 by the radio TSF Jazz.

Adrien Brandeis, pianist - jazz composer and graduate of the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Paris.
I offer jazz piano lessons which are structured in different chapters that we will approach according to each one (repertoire, harmony, rhythm, voicings, improvisation).
The objective of this course is that the student arrives quickly to improvise, from a harmonic progression or a whole grid, whatever his level.
I also offer an introduction to Cuban music (son montuno, bolero, cha-cha-cha, descarga).
This course is also open to singers who wish to develop piano accompaniment and arrangement of their compositions.
Lessons at home, possibility to receive at my place (Boulogne), 60euros per hour on Boulogne, 70 on Paris.
The lessons are in French but I am also bilingual in Spanish. Possibility of lessons in English.
