About Zaka
I started learning piano at the age 4, but that doesn't mean I didn't have struggles in my musical learning. Growing up I didn't have music theory or ear training. But it was in college that I had to learn these concepts and had to significantly refine my piano technique as well. It was tough but I pushed myself to learn these concepts! And that's what I give all my students as well. I give them a holistic foundation while also giving them real-world tools to persevere when things get difficult. It's truly within these challenges that our passions truly flourish. Ludwig van Beethoven — 'Don't only practice your art, but force your way into its secrets.'
