Perfect! Learning with Chloe is a real pleasure! Although I had no experience, Chloe taught me the basics of theory and helped me play my first pieces on the piano. In just three months, I feel like I've learned a lot thanks to a caring and structured teacher.

Perfect! I have been going to Chloe for a few months now, and I have seen amazing progressive. Where I couldn't learn pieces before I can now comfortably read and learn pieces of music in such a short amount of time. Chloe has a great structured learning plan but also remains fluid and open to personal goals and uses of learning music. I am on the very inexperienced end of the music spectrum but Chloe remains patient and is very aware of my own personal learning styles to ensure I don't become overwhelmed through the journey. Most importantly, Chloe is very personable and makes you feel really comfortable. I would recommend Chloe for anyone at any level.

Perfect! I’ve been having piano lessons with Chloe for a little while now, and I couldn’t be happier. I came in as a complete beginner, having somehow decided that Clair de Lune would be my first proper piece – a bit ambitious, to say the least!

Chloe has been incredibly friendly, patient, and encouraging from the start. She’s shown unbelievable patience as I stumble through sight-reading sections of Clair de Lune when the only note I can reliably recognise is middle C… She has a great way of explaining not just what to do, but why we’re doing it, which makes everything click so much more easily.

She’s also given me a clear, structured approach to practising, helping me to keep learning a piece far too difficult for me while also working on exercises that build the fundamental skills I was missing. I can already feel a real difference in both my playing and my confidence.

Most importantly, she’s made the whole process enjoyable. Practice now feels fun and rewarding rather than frustrating. I’d highly recommend Chloe to anyone – whether you’re a total beginner like me or looking to take your playing to the next level.

Perfect! I’ve been learning piano since the start of the year, and I can genuinely say Kloe has made the journey not only enjoyable but deeply rewarding.

Each lesson is well-structured, patient, and tailored to my pace and goals. Her ability to explain certain concepts clearly - whether it’d be reading sheet music, chords, or scales has given me a solid foundation and growing confidence.

I’d highly recommend Kloe to anyone, beginner or otherwise, looking to learn piano properly, develop a strong technique and enjoy the process along the way.

I would highly recommend Kloe as a teacher. She teaches my 10 year old daughter level 1, at present. She’s kind and patient, and punctual. My daughter says: ‘Kloe knows to find the way that suits me so I can learn if something is hard to pick up.’ I think that’s quite important skill for the teacher.

Kloe is an incredible piano teacher who helped me bring my skills to a whole new level over the past 6 months! Her expertise in piano is evident from the very first lesson, and she has an amazing ability to break down complex techniques in a way that's easy to understand. I felt like I was plateauing on my skill level, and Kloe knew exactly how to help me move forward with confidence.

What I appreciate most is her kind and encouraging approach. She’s always patient, never intimidating, and makes you feel comfortable no matter where you’re starting from. Each lesson is not only productive but also fun—she brings so much positive energy and creativity that learning feels like an exciting journey, not a chore. Kloe truly made the process enjoyable and rewarding, and I can’t recommend her enough for anyone looking to improve their piano skills!

Find out more about Chloe

When did you first develop a passion for music and what is your favourite instrument?
I was about seven years old when I started learning a version of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto no.1 with my teacher. It was a real turning point for me as I remember immediately feeling a sort of musical revelation, and that’s when I truly fell in love with classical music and the piano specifically.
Is there a particular type of music or artist that you listen to on repeat without getting tired of it?
I listen to just about everything, but I have a total weakness for Andrea Bocelli and Seong-Jin Cho. There’s something otherworldly about Bocelli’s voice that hits me right away. As for the piano, Seong-Jin Cho is easily the best of his generation; his playing is so nuanced and layered that I find something new to be inspired by every time I listen.
What is the most difficult or interesting course you could give to a music student?
Improvisation, which can (and should) be taught at any level and is incredibly powerful. It asks students to let go of strict reliance on the score and instead trust their intuition, creativity, and personal musical voice. It’s often challenging, but it’s also liberating and it helps students experience music more fully and authentically.
What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master, and why?
While I haven’t played many instruments myself, I can confidently speak about the piano and it is certainly complex to master. Among other things, it requires coordinating both hands, using multiple pedals, mastering difficult hand and finger techniques at the same time as bringing out musical expression to make sure the music sounds alive. This challenge is precisely what makes it so rewarding.
What are your keys to success?
Practice, practice and more practice. But also mental strength, patience, and being kind to yourself when things don’t work right away. Some pieces take weeks, others months or even years to really come together, depending on the level and difficulty. Understanding that progress isn't always linear and that time is essential for pieces to fully mature is key.
Name three musicians you would love to meet in your favourite bar late at night, and why.
Seong-Jin Cho, so I could ask him how he achieves such a beautiful sound at the piano.

Jacob Collier, to deconstruct his brain and have him explain his views on harmony (and Negative Harmony) in simple terms.

Tchaikovsky (time-travel permitting), to understand his life story and link it to his endlessly powerful and moving music.
Share an anecdote from your time at music school or your musical journey.
I remember a teacher once stopping me in the middle of a piece and asked me to sing the melody instead of playing it. Though it felt strange at first, it helped me understand that music isn’t just about technique, it’s about expression and intention. She also made the point that music lives inside us before it reaches the instrument and that stayed with me and still influences how I play and teach today.
What are the little things that make you a Superprof in music?
I care deeply about my students and their progress and each lesson is fully adapted to the student. My teaching is hands-on as I make sure that students both learn something new and refine existing skills each time. More importantly, lessons are always fun because music can't be played if it's not enjoyed!
