About Rayna
Across 13 years of teaching, I have cultivated a deep understanding of how to translate musical intuition into technical proficiency. My path began with a BFA in Popular Music from Berklee.
I specialize in guiding adults and teens through the nuances of POP AND CONTEMPORARY styles. My instruction integrates music theory with proper posture and hand position, ensuring a foundation that lasts. I have mentored hundreds of students, ranging from kids to advanced learners and working professionals.
I emphasize RHYTHM AND TIMING as the glue for all musical expression. My sessions include sight playing and sight reading to ensure full keyboard fluency. You will master memorization techniques designed to eliminate stage anxiety. I balance academic rigor with genuine enjoyment to keep my students engaged.

We utilize the BFA background from Berklee to bridge the gap between theory and actual song performance. Students receive weekly practice modules assigned with every class to maintain momentum between meetings. We navigate grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity boards with strategic focus.
