About Holly
I am passionate about helping college students achieve their musical goals through personalized piano lessons. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I design lessons that are practical, enjoyable, and focused on building confidence step by step.
My teaching philosophy is based on clear communication, patience, and steady improvement. I explain every topic in simple English and encourage students to understand the purpose behind every exercise before practicing it.
I use innovative teaching methods such as digital piano software, rhythm development, ear training, interactive keyboard activities, and performance preparation. These methods help students improve efficiently while keeping lessons interesting.
Students improve note reading, scales, chords, finger techniques, posture, rhythm, and expressive performance. I offer continuous support, practical guidance, and regular progress reviews throughout the learning journey.

My teaching approach combines practical learning with personal attention. Every lesson is planned according to the student's goals, helping them enjoy music while improving steadily.
Real-life examples make every lesson meaningful. Rhythm is explained through daily activities, theory is connected with popular songs, and practical case studies demonstrate how musicians use different techniques during performances.
Understanding is the heart of my classes. Students are encouraged to learn with curiosity and ask questions whenever needed. I make sure every lesson is fully understood before introducing new concepts.
Communication creates confidence. I explain concepts in simple English, demonstrate every technique clearly, and provide regular guidance for home practice.
Integrity is reflected in my commitment, honesty, and professionalism. I encourage students to stay disciplined, practice consistently, and enjoy the learning journey.
In addition to piano, I teach keyboard, music theory, ear training, sight reading, improvisation, accompaniment, rhythm development, and beginner music composition.
