About Isola
With 10 years of experience as a pianist and educator, I have guided learners of all ages in developing not only technical skill but also confidence and musical expression. My teaching approach is fully tailored to each student’s goals, blending structured technique, sight-reading, and scales with opportunities for creative exploration, improvisation, and repertoire development. I draw extensively on my own performance experience and ensemble collaborations, bringing practical insights, inspiration, and real-world musicianship into every lesson. Students are encouraged to discover and refine their own musical voice while mastering technique, fostering independence, artistry, and a deeper understanding of music beyond the notes. Outside of teaching, I compose and perform regularly, keeping my own musicianship active and evolving. For me, every lesson is more than instruction — it is a chance to share the joy, emotional depth, and lifelong fulfillment that music brings, helping each student connect with their artistry in a meaningful way.

My piano lessons focus on building strong technical foundations while encouraging expressive musicality. I begin each session with posture, hand positioning, and targeted finger exercises to enhance dexterity and accuracy. Students gradually progress to repertoire tailored to their skill level, ranging from classical works to contemporary and film music, ensuring both challenge and engagement.
I integrate sight-reading, ear training, and improvisation to help learners develop musical intuition alongside technical mastery. Lessons emphasize phrasing, dynamics, and articulation, helping students transform notes on the page into meaningful musical expression. Regular reflective exercises and performance tasks reinforce progress and deepen musical understanding.
For students preparing for recitals or examinations, I provide structured practice strategies, memory techniques, and performance coaching. The goal is to make each lesson both productive and inspiring, balancing discipline with creativity to foster a lifelong connection to music.
