About Isaac
I've been studying piano for around 14 years, under a variety of institutes: the Vancouver Academy of Music, the Chicago Institute of Music, and, most recently, the VSO School of Music. I have participated in competitions, and was a finalist in the 2017 Vancouver International Music Competition.
In 2020, I graduated with honours in my Grade 9 Royal Conservatory Practical Exam.
More recently, my studies have shifted from classical theory/performance to contemporary solo piano, art rock, and synthesis, playing in and with Vancouver bands in the music scene.
Apart from my work in music, I am an Interpreter at the H.R. MacMillan Space Center, working to educate schools grades K-12 and the general public in the field of Astronomy.

Here's a little bit of detail on my lessons, feel free to reach out with questions or concerns. I'm happy to discuss what you're looking to get out of tutoring before we begin.
• Hour-long sessions will include one-on-one support for YOUR goals in classical, Jazz, or contemporary piano.
• Tutoring Sessions can be flexible in terms of content, focusing on technique, reading sheet music, performance, and theory.
• Lessons are available for beginner/intermediate pianists, and are, of course, available for all ages.
• I am available to teach lessons over online platforms or in-person, though I'm limited to teaching in-person classes only in Vancouver.
