About Alina
My journey with piano began with a deep appreciation for music and artistic expression. This led me to complete a PhD in Piano Performance, where I developed advanced technical and performance skills. Over the past 12 years, I have helped students learn piano through structured lessons and supportive guidance.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, clarity, and adaptability. I understand that each student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching methods to match their pace and comfort level. I use simple explanations and step-by-step guidance to help students build confidence and improve gradually. I also create a calm and encouraging learning environment.
I continue to stay connected with music through regular practice and exploring new compositions. Watching students grow from beginners to confident players is very rewarding. Many learners who feel unsure at first begin to play smoothly and enjoy music deeply. Helping them achieve this progress motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and care.

Learning piano becomes more effective when students understand how music is structured instead of only memorizing notes. In my lessons, I focus on finger technique, rhythm control, scales, and reading sheet music using simple and clear explanations. Each concept is broken into smaller parts so students can follow comfortably and build their skills gradually. I also include familiar melodies and exercises to make learning more engaging and enjoyable. This approach helps students stay motivated and develop a deeper connection with music.
Lessons are structured based on the student’s level and pace of learning. Beginners focus on basic notes, hand coordination, and simple melodies to build a strong foundation. Intermediate learners work on improving rhythm, reading accuracy, and playing more complete pieces. Advanced students focus on musical expression, dynamics, and performance techniques. I include regular practice routines so students can improve steadily. Feedback helps them correct mistakes and refine their skills over time.
As students continue learning, they begin to feel more confident in playing piano and expressing themselves through music. Many learners enjoy practicing regularly and performing for others. This growth builds discipline, patience, and creativity. My goal is to make piano learning simple, enjoyable, and meaningful while helping students develop strong and lasting musical confidence.
