About Theresa

Rhythm and timing form the foundation of my 13 years of instruction alongside grade exam preparation for ABRSM and Trinity boards. Sight reading and classical repertoire remain central to my pedagogical approach since I gave my first recital at 9. My practice incorporates sight transposition and chord voicing to help students master pop and contemporary styles.

Dynamics and expression are taught alongside essential ear training exercises for pupils at all stages. Watching a student discover their own musical voice defines my career. My methodology centers on the integration of theory with performance. You will find that musical fluency is the inevitable result of our work together.

About the lesson

You deserve a curriculum that includes custom sheet music arrangements for the songs you choose. I bring 13 years of performance experience to the bench.

My DMA from the Eastman School of Music ensures technical precision. We integrate theory into every practice session from grade 3 onward. This approach keeps the music vibrant and challenging.

Success follows this disciplined technical path. Your progress is the ultimate goal.
