About Shea
I am a piano tutor with 10 years of experience and a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance. My journey with piano began with a deep love for music and creativity. Over time, this passion developed into teaching and guiding students. I have worked with learners of all levels and helped them build strong musical skills and confidence. My goal is to make piano learning simple, structured, and enjoyable.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and consistent support. I break down techniques into simple steps so students can understand and improve comfortably. I encourage regular practice and confidence building. I create a supportive environment where students feel motivated to learn and grow. I provide regular feedback to guide progress effectively.
I continue improving my teaching methods to keep lessons engaging and effective. Teaching piano is very rewarding because I see students grow in both skill and confidence. I enjoy helping learners discover their musical potential. My goal is to support students in achieving strong musical foundations. By the end, students feel confident, inspired, and ready to continue their musical journey with skill, creativity, and lasting passion.

My piano lessons focus on helping students build strong musical skills through structured and engaging learning. I teach note reading, rhythm, finger independence, hand coordination, and basic music theory using simple explanations. Each lesson includes exercises that improve finger strength, accuracy, and smooth playing. I guide students step by step so they understand both technique and musical expression. I also include simple songs and creative exercises to keep learning enjoyable. I create a supportive and relaxed environment where students feel comfortable practicing and improving at their own pace.
Lessons are tailored based on each student’s level and goals. Beginners focus on basic notes, simple melodies, and coordination between hands. Intermediate learners develop rhythm accuracy, expression, and more detailed pieces. Advanced students focus on performance skills, dynamics, and musical interpretation. I provide clear guidance and helpful feedback in every lesson. Students are encouraged to practice regularly to build consistency. Regular revision helps strengthen understanding and long-term progress.
Learning piano becomes more enjoyable when students feel confident in their abilities. My goal is to help learners build both technical skills and musical expression. As they improve, they begin to enjoy playing and performing. Many students develop confidence and strong musical understanding. I focus on steady progress and continuous encouragement. By the end, students feel confident, expressive, and ready to play piano with clarity, rhythm, and strong musical confidence.
