About Mary
My Master of Music from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music provides the technical grounding for my teaching. Sometimes I find that the most complex pieces require the simplest starting points for my 125 students. I have taught for 13 years, helping individuals develop hand independence and learn to play pop, contemporary, and classical repertoire. My method integrates music theory and chord voicing to ensure you reach your personal goals.

"The keys feel like an extension of your own hands once you master proper posture and hand position. I utilize my 13 years of experience to guide students through scales, arpeggios, and jazz improvisation techniques. Developing memorization techniques allows you to perform with ease. I create custom sheet music arrangements for songs students choose to keep the process engaging.
Integrating my background from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music ensures every student understands the underlying structure of their chosen pieces. It is rewarding to see students enjoy the creative process."
