About Chloe
I hold a Master’s degree in Music and have 6 years of experience teaching piano to students of different ages and abilities. My background combines formal academic training with years of practical performance, allowing me to guide learners with both structure and creativity in their musical journey. Beyond teaching, I have performed in recitals, ensemble groups, and collaborative projects, giving me a wide perspective on different styles and performance settings. These experiences allow me to share practical knowledge with my students, from managing stage presence to interpreting a variety of musical genres with confidence. As a tutor, I believe patience and encouragement are key to growth. I take time to understand each student’s strengths and challenges, adapting my teaching methods accordingly. My philosophy centers on helping students see music not only as a skill to master but also as a form of expression that enriches life and inspires creativity.

My piano lessons are carefully crafted to meet the needs of students at different skill levels, whether they are complete beginners or aspiring performers. Early sessions focus on building familiarity with the keyboard, introducing posture, hand placement, and basic rhythms to create a strong foundation that prepares learners for more advanced material.
As students progress, lessons incorporate sight-reading, scales, and technical exercises designed to strengthen coordination and agility. I also include structured music theory, connecting notation, chords, and harmonies to the pieces being studied. This ensures that learners not only play notes correctly but also develop an understanding of how music functions.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual’s goals, whether preparing for graded exams, learning classical repertoire, or exploring modern and popular styles. The emphasis is always on balancing discipline with creativity, ensuring that students develop not only technical proficiency but also confidence, expression, and joy in their playing.
