About Angelina
I hold a Master’s degree in Piano Performance and have been teaching piano for over 6 years. My deep passion for music and education drives me to help students develop not only technical skills but also a genuine love for playing the piano. I believe music has the power to inspire and enrich lives, and I strive to share that joy with every student. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with a wide range of learners, from young beginners to advanced pianists. I understand that each student has their own unique goals and learning style, so I customize lessons to fit individual needs. My approach balances solid technique with musical expression, helping students become confident and versatile musicians. I continue to enhance my own musical knowledge by performing, studying, and exploring new teaching methods. This ongoing growth enables me to bring fresh ideas and effective strategies into my lessons, keeping students motivated and engaged. I also emphasize the importance of patience and persistence in mastering the piano. What excites me most is witnessing the progress and breakthroughs my students achieve. Seeing them grow in skill and confidence motivates me to create a nurturing environment where learning is both challenging and rewarding. With 6 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Piano Performance, my lessons are designed to build a strong foundation while nurturing each student’s unique musical expression. Whether you’re a beginner eager to learn the basics or an advanced player seeking to refine your skills, lessons are tailored to your goals and pace.
Core focus areas include sight-reading, technique development, and music theory. I guide students through exercises that improve finger strength, dexterity, and hand coordination, making challenging pieces more approachable. Music theory is integrated into lessons to deepen understanding of structure, harmony, and rhythm, which enhances overall musicianship.
I emphasize a balanced approach combining technical skills with expressive playing. Students learn how to interpret pieces with emotion and style, fostering both confidence and creativity at the keyboard. Repertoire is selected based on interest and skill level, keeping lessons engaging and rewarding.
Creating a positive and supportive learning environment is key to my teaching philosophy. I encourage curiosity and patience, helping students overcome obstacles with steady progress. Whether preparing for exams, performances, or personal enjoyment, my aim is to inspire a lifelong love of piano and music.
