About Iris
As a piano tutor with 13 years of experience, I specialize in classical repertoire, music theory, and technique. My teaching approach is tailored to each student's unique needs and skill levels, ensuring a personalized and effective learning journey. I am passionate about helping students discover the joy of music, guiding them to develop their abilities and achieve their musical goals.
Beyond teaching piano, I have a deep love for hiking, which allows me to connect with nature and find inspiration in the great outdoors. Exploring new trails and experiencing the beauty of nature provides a refreshing balance to my musical pursuits. Hiking not only keeps me physically active but also helps clear my mind, allowing me to return to the piano with renewed energy and creativity.
In my leisure time, I also enjoy reading and watching movies. Diving into a good book or a thought-provoking film enriches my understanding of different perspectives and narratives, which I bring into my teaching. These hobbies complement my passion for music, providing a well-rounded and fulfilling approach to life. By integrating my diverse interests, I aim to create a holistic and engaging learning experience for my piano students.
