About Gabbi
I am a 25 year old tutor, composer, and music director. I have recently been music directing productions such as Rent and The Drowsy Chaperone, where I have led the bands and piano conducted. I have recently finished my first soundtrack for a web series, composed digitally. I currently play as a support musician for late night improv comedy groups. Music is basically my whole life and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Kia ora! My piano lessons are welcome to anybody, no specific age group. I teach 30-60minute lessons which not only go over theory elements, but I also focus a lot on learning songs by ear. I really value this approach as it helped me get to where I am today, and in teaching it, I have found it to be much more accessible to neurodiverse students who struggle with theory elements. This means any song at all can be our project that lesson- just request what you'd like and you'll play it shortly! I am able to travel and provide 1 keyboard we would use, or I teach online lessons for a smaller rate. As my lessons continue I hope to secure a venue for hosting.
