About Lin
I am a passionate guitar tutor with 14 years of experience teaching students of all ages—from high school and college learners to elderly students. Over my career, I have taught around 150–200 students, helping them develop not only their technical skills but also confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music.
My lessons are personalised and interactive, combining practical exercises, real-life examples, and motivational guidance to make learning meaningful and fun. One of my proudest moments was helping a student perform their first song in a live setting—seeing their excitement reminded me why I love teaching.
I believe learning guitar is not just about playing notes but about self-expression, patience, and growth. My mission is to guide every student to reach their full potential while enjoying every step of their musical journey.

My guitar teaching methodology is student-focused and flexible. I use real-life examples such as songs, riffs, and practice exercises to explain guitar concepts in a simple way.
I include case studies to show how guitarists apply techniques in real music. Problem-solving is used to overcome challenges like finger strength and smooth chord changes. I guide students step by step until they feel confident.
Motivation keeps students positive and consistent. Integrity ensures honest feedback and realistic expectations. My flexible teaching style allows lessons to be customised for each student’s goals and learning pace. Along with Guitar, I also teach basic music theory, rhythm exercises, and beginner songwriting.
