About Joshua
Usually playing feels like a puzzle until you see the patterns laid out clearly. Because I have 13 years of experience, I know how to break down the nuance of Latin rhythms for adults who have never held a guitar. We focus on technique until it feels like second nature.
It is truly satisfying to watch a student master a tough section after practicing the right way. I provide free chord charts and tab sheets shared after each class to keep your progress moving steadily. You will have everything you need to keep practicing at home. It just starts with a single string.

Power chords and complex barre chords define the rhythmic foundation I teach. Sitting in my studio in Madrid 13 years ago, I realized that acoustic technique is the heartbeat of every song. My Diploma of Music from JMC Academy grounds my approach in formal theory. I have taught a wide variety of students from absolute beginners to advanced learners over these many years.
Hobbyists and grade exam candidates often find my methods clarify even the most difficult passages. Music requires dedication and clear instruction.
