About Vivian
With over 7 years of teaching experience and an Associate of Arts in Guitar Fundamentals, I guide students to thrive in ensembles and on stage. I specialize in preparing students for band auditions, group performances, and live shows. My teaching is encouraging and focused, helping students build confidence and technical skill. I emphasize stage presence, rhythmic tightness, and creative collaboration. Students learn to communicate musically within a band and contribute meaningfully to group sound. I work on timing, phrasing, and expressive playing in live settings. Lessons include audition strategies, improvisation, and ensemble cohesion. Each student receives guidance tailored to their skill level and musical goals. I foster a supportive environment where experimentation and collaboration are encouraged. Students leave prepared to perform with confidence and artistry. We work together to enhance musical communication and stage readiness. I focus on developing both technical proficiency and collaborative excellence. Performing live becomes an inspiring and enjoyable experience.

I provide real-world experience for playing with other musicians. The Fingerstyle Enthusiast and The Late Bloomer both thrive under my guidance. We work on timing, coordination, and musical communication within a group. Students learn how to respond to others and contribute creatively. Each session includes exercises simulating live performance conditions. I teach strategies for audience engagement and stage confidence. Technical skills are strengthened alongside musical expression. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and goals. I emphasize collaboration, improvisation, and ensemble cohesion.
