About Brielle
I am an experienced piano tutor with 10 years of teaching and a Bachelor’s degree in Musicology with a focus on Piano History. My teaching approach centers on jazz piano improvisation, comping techniques, and expanding your harmonic vocabulary. I believe in a holistic method combining jazz theory, ear training for complex chords, transcription, and rhythmic precision. This well-rounded approach helps students develop both their technique and creative voice. I have guided Early Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate students, along with professional jazz musicians. Lessons are tailored to your individual needs and musical aspirations. We emphasize spontaneous improvisation and transcription to internalize jazz language authentically. Rhythmic accuracy and harmonic depth are key to your artistic development. I provide a supportive and motivating learning environment.
