About Coah

My name is Coah and I'm a genre-fluid artist, producer and guitarist. I believe having a playful approach is instrumental to growth as a musician. My goal is to help you become a versatile and dynamic guitarist and make sure you have fun, learning in a judgement-free environment. I've been a lover of music since childhood. My journey in music began with classical piano where I learned music theory and later, I picked up guitar as I felt really drawn to the instrument and instantly fell in love. Since then, I've sung and played in venues across London and other parts of the UK, been featured on Gretsch and delivered talks about music creation in schools. I've taken everything I've learned in my 13 years as a guitarist and crafted learning resources and backing tracks to provide you with a strong start in guitar. I get so much satisfaction from seeing clients discover new parts of themselves, growing, evolving and becoming confident musicians. I prioritise creating a safe environment for you to learn in, where you are both challenged and encouraged. Learning a new skill can be daunting, but it can also be an adventure and I believe it's my job to make sure you have fun on your journey.

About the lesson

My teaching style focuses on providing you with theoretical training, identifying your strengths and areas for growth, as well as supporting your self-exploration, so you have the tools to develop your own unique sound. Learning guitar with me, you can integrate the music you're excited to learn into your teaching plan so you're inspired to practise and progress. As a genre-fluid artist myself, I'm passionate about versatility, so you can feel confident you'll be able to explore all the styles of music you're interested in! Lessons are open to beginner & intermediate players looking to learn acoustic or electric guitar. START PLAYING FROM YOUR FIRST LESSON - We'll cover all the beginner open chords using backing tracks you can practise playing along with. BUILD A STRONG FOUNDATION - Delve into the world of music theory, helping you to understand what you're playing and navigate the fretboard confidently. EXPAND & DEVELOP - Discover new chords learning the songs you love and building your repertoire. We'll explore chord variations, soloing and new techniques that will make your playing even more dynamic. I look forward to embarking on this playful journey with you!

Perfect! Coah is a super systematic, patient and friendly teacher. She's been great at tailoring my lessons to my specific needs, whilst still giving me a very broad toolkit that's really added versatility to my guitar playing, even as a beginner. She places a large emphasis on helping you establish your own musical voice from the very moment you pick up a guitar, something that I really value. It's been really cool seeing how quickly my guitar-playing has been improving, as a result.
