About Ella
Hi! I’m Ella, a recent Denison University graduate with a degree in Politics and Public Affairs and a minor in Journalism. I’ve always loved working with words, whether that means writing and editing articles, developing academic research, or helping students find the clearest way to express their ideas. I have experience teaching and developing educational curriculum, as well as providing academic support to college students. I’ve also worked in professional journalism and research, where strong writing, careful editing, and clear communication were essential. As a tutor, my goal is to make writing feel less intimidating and help students become more confident in their own voice. Whether you’re working on an essay, struggling with grammar, or looking to strengthen your academic English, I’ll meet you where you are and tailor our lessons to what you need.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a background in teaching English and grammar conventions. I can help with college-level English, academic writing, essays, grammar, editing, and developing clear and effective arguments.
