About Emma
I hold a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Nonprofit & NGO Studies, with additional coursework in Sociology and Gender Studies, and have professional experience working in higher education.
Throughout my career, I have developed strong skills in writing, research, communication, and student support. I have a particular passion for helping students who come from backgrounds that may be less familiar with higher education, as well as those who learn differently or face challenges with traditional educational formats. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where every student can build confidence and achieve success.

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to each individual's needs, learning style, and goals. My approach focuses on building understanding and confidence by guiding students to their answers and using real-world examples.
A typical lesson includes reviewing questions, working through key concepts together, and practicing skills until the student feels comfortable applying them independently.
What sets me apart is my patient, supportive teaching style and my focus on helping students develop long-term learning and study skills—not just complete assignments. I assist students with organization, scheduling, and goal achieving in and outside of the classroom.
I work with middle school and high school students in subjects such as writing, English, history, political science, study skills, and academic success.
