About Jisu
I’m a Korean singer-songwriter and vocal producer with hands-on experience in released K-pop music. I’ve been working in music for over 16 years, and I’ve learnt both the challenges and the joy of singing along the way. I studied vocal performance and songwriting at Hanlim Arts High School and Howon University, and have worked as a songwriter, top-line writer, guide vocalist, and vocal director on officially released K-pop albums. My credits include work with MAMAMOO, IVE (Lee Seo), HyunA, Jo Kwon, BTOB, and (G)I-DLE, in collaboration with major Korean entertainment companies. I enjoy teaching and supporting others through music. As a Korean artist, it feels meaningful to share Korean sound and culture at a time when interest in Korea and K-pop is growing around the world. Through teaching, I want to share not only solid vocal technique, but also the emotional depth of Korean music and the unique sound of K-pop.

I help non-Korean speakers understand how Korean actually sounds when it’s sung, not just how it’s written. Technique is taught in a clear, structured way, focusing on breath, support, vocal scales, and pronunciation, shaped by over 13 years of vocal teaching experience. As a published K-pop songwriter and vocal producer, I coach vocals from the perspective of how songs are actually written, recorded, and delivered. Lessons are often connected to K-pop covers or singing content, with a focus on sounding natural and confident on recordings and social media. Alongside my industry work, I’ve released several singles and EPs as an independent artist. This experience directly shapes how I coach vocals for real recordings and social media content.
