About Sage

My degree from Université de Montréal informs the theory we cover, ensuring your foundation remains solid.
We tackle tuning and maintenance to keep your gear ready for any song. I include a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum high for my grade exam candidates. Music lives in the tradition of those who came before us. I have taught 325 students how to find their voice through the strings of a guitar. Whether you are an adult returning to the instrument or a hobbyist playing at home, my method focuses on the fundamentals of fingerpicking and music theory. You might struggle with barre chords or ear training at first, but we navigate these hurdles with steady persistence.
I draw heavily from the styles of Leloup and Vigneault to keep our sessions grounded in heritage. Expect a relaxed atmosphere where your goals dictate the pace of our discovery. I promise to keep our focus on the joy of making sounds that feel authentic to your own creative spirit.
