About Mafalda
I am a curious and communicative person. I like to understand each other and outline the best strategy for teaching. Every student is different and has different needs. Looking at each individual in this way makes the classes more adapted to each one.
With calm and positive thinking, the effort is disguised and rewarded!
Despite not having studied to teach Portuguese to foreigners, I have been improving my skills informally, either through reading specialized books or through practice.

I have a degree in communication science and work as a journalist for a Spanish magazine that entered the Portuguese market.
I have been teaching Portuguese since 2017 and had mostly Spanish-speaking students (Spain, Argentina, Mexico, ...) or who knew Spanish. Although to a lesser extent, I have also taught students from countries such as India, Australia, Germany and the Netherlands.
Depending on the student and the objective, the teaching methodology also varies. I can use a manual, online materials, games.
My way of teaching is based on teaching through tasks promoting the use of the language as we do in everyday life.
