About Upali
Hello! I’m Upali, a friendly and patient tutor with a background in Geography and Geoinformatics. I have professional experience in GIS and data analysis and I’m currently pursuing an MSc in Environmental Science from Trinity College Dublin.
I enjoy teaching because I love helping students understand new concepts, improve their skills and become more confident in their abilities. I believe everyone learns differently, so I try to make my lessons simple, interactive and tailored to each student.
I can support students with English, Geography and GIS, from building strong basics to preparing for exams, assignments or improving practical skills. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes and learn at their own pace.
I look forward to helping my future students achieve their learning goals and enjoy the process along the way!

I take a friendly, patient and practical approach to tutoring, focusing on making each topic easy to understand and relevant to the student. I first identify the student’s current level and areas where they need support, then adapt my teaching style accordingly.
My lessons include clear explanations, examples, practice questions, discussions and regular feedback. For Geography and GIS, I like to use maps, diagrams, real-world examples and practical exercises to make concepts more engaging and easier to remember.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although I can adjust the duration depending on the student’s needs. I have a background in Geography and Geoinformatics, along with professional experience in GIS and data analysis. I am currently pursuing an MSc in Environmental Science from Trinity College Dublin.
I welcome students from school who want support with English and Geography, GIS, environmental topics, assignments, exam preparation or developing their understanding of spatial data and mapping. I am also certified in English with Advanced CEFR C1 level.
