About Atharva
Hi! I'm Atharva, a PhD candidate at the University of Surrey. I have a degree in Computer Science and Electronics and Electrical Engineering and have experience working as a Software/Embedded Software Engineer for 2 years. I have 8 years of experience teaching GCSE and A Levels Maths, Physics and Further Maths to students in the UK and India, both online and in-person. I have been teaching for over 8 years. Over this time, my 2 main areas of focus have been: Understanding of the topic, through real world examples and analogies: By understanding the topic more fully, the student is better able to engage with the concepts and gain an appreciation for the subject. Preparation for the exam through past paper questions: The exams are essentially a game. Through understanding written (and unwritten) rules of this game and giving them ample practice, I enable students to be better prepared for whatever comes their way during the high pressure environment of the exam.
