About Lachlan
I am a career educator, committed to fostering learning in all of its forms and contexts. I have recently moved to London from Sydney to take up a post as a Chemistry Teacher in an independent school. I believe that one-on-one tutoring is one of the best ways to assist young people not only achieve their academic goals, but also build character. I am a passionate and energetic teacher who thoroughly enjoys my field of work, and I possess a genuine interest in my students' success.

I am a qualified Chemistry, Biology and Physics teacher with experience teaching all three subjects, at both A-level and GCSE equivalent. I can also teach Mathematics up to Year 9. I believe face-to-face teaching is a lot more powerful than lessons over Zoom. However, I am happy to accommodate students who prefer to conduct the sessions online. Each lesson will run for an hour, however, I can offer flexibility in this regard as well. **QUALIFICATIONS** I completed my tertiary education at the University of Sydney, which included a BSc (2017-2020) majoring in pharmacology and a Master of Teaching, specialising in Secondary Science (2020-2021). **EXPERIENCE** I have been working full time as a Chemistry teacher for 3 years. In my time, I have taught a wide range of students, with different goals, strengths and interests. I have been working in high schools for over 8 years, starting as a sports coach (rugby and cricket) and academic tutor.
