About Guo

I came to Australia as an international student and feel incredibly grateful to have settled in Melbourne and built a career as a professional accountant. Through my personal and professional journey, I’ve learned immensely from peers, mentors, and colleagues. That experience has inspired me to give back by sharing the knowledge I’ve gained — however small — with others who may benefit from it. I hope, in doing so, I can contribute positively to our community.

About the lesson

Tutoring is tailored to your level and specific learning goals. Depending on your needs, sessions can include:

I’m a CPA-qualified accountant with experience teaching CPA subjects, and I welcome students of all levels — from beginners to advanced.

Lessons can be scheduled for 30 minutes to 1 hour, and my rate is $50 per hour. Please note that if you require offline guidance or material review/preparation, that time will also be charged accordingly.

Perfect! Guo is such a lovely tutor! She’s very patient and takes the time to go through the topics and things I struggle with until I completely understand before moving on to the next topic or task. She explains things in a simple way to suit my level and make it easier for me to understand. Accounting/calculations can be a struggle when you don’t fully understand, but you will have fun with Guo throughout the lesson- I really enjoyed my lesson with her and so happy that I have gained more knowledge and don’t struggle anymore!
