About Sanmathi

hi! I am currently a freshman in college and have been tutoring various subjects for the last 5 years. I tutor students after either passing my courses with high grades, or passing AP tests with a 4 or 5 in order to ensure that I have full and complete understanding about the subjects and am able to implement that while teaching. I have passed the SAT with a 1590/1600, ACT with 35/36 and have gotten consistent 5's throughout my AP courses which include AP biology, AP stats, AP chemistry, AP psychology, AP literature and more, I have also passed most of my classes with an A grade

About the lesson

I would first present ideas in a slideshow format in order for students to understand concepts better or learn concepts, I would then have specific problems, or questions that are asked in order to see the understanding of the student, or work through certain problems that are key to the information being taught. based off of this I will know what to work with the student more in depth on and what they do not need much help with. I will also work through certain problems with formulas, how todo these problems easily, and if there are any specific problems students need help with I can teach them how to solve and understand how to solve similar problems. A typical lesson plan would depend on what the student needs help with, if they need help understanding a particular concept I would provide a slideshow and explain it in depth and test understanding to see if some concepts need more review than others. If the student needs help solving a problem, I would pull up a whiteboard and show them how to solve the problems and explain how to as well as provide slideshows to look back at if needed. My lessons will be for elementary, middle school, high school and college students, for highschool students mostly for AP courses and SAT/ACT prep.
