I am 21 years old, and I am a dedicated college student with a strong academic background in mathematics and a passion for helping others succeed. As a college student tutoring mathematics, my approach focuses on helping students understand the reasoning behind concepts rather than simply memorizing procedures. I break down complex problems into smaller, manageable steps and connect new ideas to concepts students already know, making abstract material more intuitive. During a typical session, I begin by reviewing previous material and identifying any areas of difficulty, then move into clear, step-by-step explanations of key concepts. We work through problems together to build confidence, followed by independent practice so the student can apply what they’ve learned. I end each lesson with a brief recap and study strategies to reinforce retention. What sets me apart is my ability to relate to students as a current college learner, allowing me to explain concepts in a practical, approachable way while understanding the challenges they face. My tutoring is best suited for high school and early college students studying subjects such as algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and statistics, whether they need help catching up, improving grades, or strengthening their overall understanding of math.
