About Emily

Hi everyone! My name is Emily and I am passionate about helping you perform your best in school. I went to a complete dual-enrollment high school where from my sophomore to senior year, I was taking all university classes on a college campus. This experience forced me to be very disciplined in order to learn difficult concepts, fast. Because of my academic background, I have become very well-versed in helping others achieve their academic goals as well.

I am a senior in college majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior. I have tutored all throughout my academic career to friends, classmates, and family to help them achieve academic success. I am a straight-A student and have excelled in all areas that I am available to tutor in.

At my high school, I was also Captain of both the Varsity Volleyball and Varsity Basketball team as well as Vice President of the Student Government Association. These leadership positions taught me how to communicate effectively with others in order to get the job done!

I am excited to help you achieve the best in your academics!

About the lesson

My teaching approach is first determining how the student learns and where their difficulties are in order to better understand how to help them. Everyone learns differently, and using how you learn best to your advantage is the most effective way to produce results. After that, we approach the concepts.
