About Alba
I am a dedicated French tutor with 12 years of experience teaching High School and College students, and I have successfully guided around 150 to 200 students in improving their language skills. My teaching philosophy focuses on building confidence through clear understanding and regular practice. I believe that when students feel comfortable with the basics, they naturally progress to higher levels with ease.
I take time to explain grammar concepts in a simple and structured way, ensuring that students do not feel overwhelmed. I also include real-life examples, conversation practice, and interactive sessions to make learning more engaging and practical.
One of my key achievements is helping students who once struggled with French become confident learners who perform well in exams and communicate effectively. I am committed to creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can grow at their own pace.

My teaching style for French focuses on building strong basics while also improving practical communication skills. I use real-life examples and case studies to make lessons engaging and easy to understand, helping students connect theory with real-world usage.
I follow a flexible approach where lessons are customised based on each student’s level, pace, and learning goals. This ensures that students can learn comfortably and progress steadily. I encourage collaboration by involving students in discussions, speaking exercises, and role-plays that improve their fluency and confidence.
I also maintain a compassionate and encouraging environment where students feel safe to learn and grow. Along with French, I also cover grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation, listening, reading, and writing skills. I also include cultural insights and practical applications to provide a complete and enriching learning experience.
