About Pin
With 12 years of experience as a piano tutor, I have taught students ranging from young beginners to advanced learners and working professionals. My teaching philosophy centres on creating a supportive, motivating, and creative learning environment where students can build technical skills, musical understanding, and self-expression.
I have successfully guided students through recitals, competitions, and graded exams, helping them achieve milestones and develop performance confidence. Lessons focus on technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and expressive playing, while also encouraging creativity and exploration of different musical styles. I strive to make each lesson meaningful, engaging, and inspiring, cultivating a lifelong love for music in my students.

I follow a teaching philosophy centred on compassion, communication, and encouragement. I believe a good teacher guides students patiently and makes learning enjoyable. In piano lessons, I focus on technique, rhythm, and creativity, ensuring students build strong skills while having fun.
I maintain clear communication, explaining concepts in simple terms and giving feedback that motivates improvement. Supportiveness is at the core of my lessons—I encourage students through challenges and celebrate progress to boost confidence.
I also teach music theory and related subjects, using the same personalised and patient approach. My goal is to foster both musical skill and self-confidence, creating a learning experience that is rewarding and enjoyable.
