About Nathaniel
With 16+ years of experience as a flute tutor, I am passionate about guiding students from school to college level in their musical journey and helping them build strong skills and confidence. My experience in music has taught me that patience, discipline, and regular practice are the keys to success, and I bring these values into my teaching.
I have worked with many students, supporting them as they progress step by step and achieve their goals. A key milestone in my career has been seeing students perform confidently in various events and competitions. My teaching approach is clear, patient, and student-focused, emphasizing essential techniques such as breathing control, tone production, finger coordination, and rhythm.
I also ensure that lessons are engaging and enjoyable so students stay motivated. I believe that music education plays an important role in overall personal development, and my goal is to inspire students to continue learning and build a strong connection with music.

My approach to teaching flute combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to create a balanced and enjoyable learning experience. I believe that learning music should be both meaningful and engaging. I start by understanding each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and learning pace so I can adjust my teaching methods accordingly.
I motivate students by encouraging consistent practice and appreciating their progress, which builds their confidence. Communication helps me explain techniques like breath control, fingering, posture, and tone quality in a clear and simple manner.
With integrity, I ensure students learn step by step and build strong basics. I guide them patiently and provide honest feedback. Creativity allows me to make lessons interesting by including songs, exercises, and fun activities. In addition to flute, I also teach music basics like rhythm, scales, and listening skills to support overall learning.
