About Tira
I am an experienced piano tutor with 12 years of teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a structured, positive, and encouraging learning environment where students can progress at their own pace while developing both technical proficiency and musical creativity.
I have guided students through performances, graded exams, and competitions, helping them gain confidence, achieve milestones, and perform with poise. Lessons include technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and expressive playing, all customized to the student’s level, learning style, and goals.
I aim to foster discipline, confidence, and a lifelong love for music while ensuring that each lesson is productive, inspiring, and enjoyable.

Communication is central—I explain concepts clearly, provide constructive feedback, and encourage students to share their goals. Supportiveness ensures that students remain confident and motivated, even when facing challenges.
I apply the same method to other subjects I teach, such as music theory and beginner composition. My aim is to create a positive, nurturing environment that inspires growth and a love for learning.
