About Lou
Music is a wonderful way to express creativity, and I am passionate about helping students discover that through guitar. With 14 years of teaching experience, I work with school students, college students, and working professionals at different skill levels.
My teaching style combines structure, creativity, and encouragement. I customize lessons to match each student's goals, whether they are learning for fun, academic purposes, or performance preparation.
My lessons include guitar techniques such as chords, scales, rhythm training, fingerstyle methods, lead guitar basics, and song performance. I also teach related subjects including music theory, ear training, songwriting, and musical expression.
I use modern teaching methods, interactive exercises, and song-based learning to keep students engaged. My focus is not only on technical improvement but also on helping students develop confidence and enjoy the learning process.
Through patience, dedication, and personalized support, I help students build strong musical foundations and achieve their goals while developing a lasting appreciation for music.

My teaching methodology is based on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe that every student has the potential to learn music when they receive the right guidance and encouragement. I create a positive and comfortable environment where students feel free to express themselves, ask questions, and learn without pressure.
I teach Guitar through a well-structured and progressive approach. Beginners start with proper posture, hand coordination, finger exercises, rhythm understanding, and basic chords. Once the foundation becomes strong, students gradually move to scales, chord progressions, strumming techniques, fingerstyle playing, and song performance. Advanced learners are introduced to improvisation, musical expression, and performance preparation.
I strongly believe that mastering the fundamentals is the key to long-term success. Therefore, I focus on accuracy, consistency, and regular practice rather than rushing through lessons. I provide continuous feedback and encourage students to set realistic goals that help them improve steadily.
Apart from Guitar, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm development, basic music reading, and songwriting concepts. These additional subjects help students understand music more deeply and become complete musicians.
My objective is to help students gain confidence, develop creativity, and build a lifelong love for music while enjoying every stage of the learning process.
