About Miguel Angel

I am a Bachelor of History with 15 years of professional experience in the United Kingdom, where I worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland and carried out various Spanish-English and English-Spanish translation projects, specially in the field of finances. Apart from my experience as a History teacher in Spain (where I obtained the " Curso de Adaptación Pedagogica" orCAP), I have organized English classes for Spaniards living abroad, as well as conversation classes for Britons interested in improving their Spanish.
Currently I continue involved in translation projects and work as an invigilator for the British Council Examinations Department.

About the lesson

I usually structure the classes in a rather methodical way while preparing them. I always try to make them as relaxed and close to the student as possible. I prefer to take my time to get to know the student and design the teaching units according to their particular needs. Although I consider the theory to be necessary, I try to present the learning process as dynamic as possible through practice and exercises

Mi nivel de inglés era básico y necesitaba a alguien que me entendiera en mi idioma, tuviera conocimientos didácticos y un nivel superior al proficiency en inglés.
Miguel me dio la confianza para perder la vergüenza hablando, mejorando mi pronunciación y a escoger las palabras adecuadas dependiendo del contexto. También gramática, conjugación de verbos, false friends, frases hechas...
Miguel me motivó mucho para poder avanzar de manera rápida y muy pronto note mejoría y soltura en la manera de hablar, leer, pensar y escribir en inglés.
