About Laura

I am an experienced tutor with a passion for helping students to achieve their academic potential.

I graduated with a high 2:1 in Law from Oxford University in 2009. I also studied first year Philosophy, Politics and Economics (2:1). After graduating, I completed the LPC (Distinction) and then qualified as a corporate lawyer working in London and Hong Kong at a US law firm as well as a well know investment bank. I now work full time on my passion which is tutoring and mentoring primary and GCSE students to achieve their full potential.

I have two years of experience as a tutor teaching English, Maths and Biology (Primary and GCSE level) and Law (Degree level). I have also tutored students for Oxbridge applications and interviews as well as law firm applications and interviews.

As well as finding ways to simplify difficult concepts, my focus is to inspire students to be confident in their abilities and most importantly, to foster the intellectual curiosity needed to make the subject enjoyable!

I only take on new tutoring clients where I feel I can make a significant positive impact. I encourage you to ask me any questions you have and I look forward to discussing how we can work together.
