About James
I am currently undergoing my Teacher Training at the Institute of Education (UCL) to gain my primary teaching qualification.
I have previously worked full-time at a prestigious independent school in North London where I provided support to those needing a challenge, as well as those needing extra practice. I worked on a variety on scales: with children independently, in small groups and assisted in class, all to aid each individual where possible.
Prior to this, I graduated in History BA (Hons) at UCL.
Whether during my degree or alongside my full-time job, I have tutored pupils in History and Mathematics, helping them gain better understanding of the topics and/or prepare for any formal/informal assessments.

My lessons focus on building confidence with numeracy, focusing on any areas that may need more work, without neglecting topics that are helpful to go back over.
