I have a Maths degree and have been a Primary School teacher for over 19 years, I have a passion for maths and have successfully developed children's enthusiasm and understanding for the subject in each of the classes I have taught.

I like to find out what the children understand and work from there. I feel basic recall of number facts and times tables are essential to be able to compute at a higher level and so therefore working on this along with realising many number facts and calculations are nothing new and making those links are an excellent foundation for then delving into problem solving.
