About Daniel
I started tutoring in college in 2014, and have been doing it in some form ever since. I've helped at high and low levels of physics, and worked with students who barely needed tutoring as well as those who desperately needed it. I’m well educated in the subject, having majored in physics at Princeton and obtained a physics PhD in Dark Matter at Stony Brook University. I’m currently an AP physics teacher at a college prep school and have been for 4 years. I’m excited to work with you!

I tailor my tutoring to each student, starting with what the student needs to focus on and what they are struggling with, and working forward based on the confidence they have in the content. For students who are totally lost, I will start from scratch and teach concepts from the ground up; for students who need help applying what they know, I ask leading questions to guide students in how to apply their knowledge. I won’t spoon feed you answers, but no matter how lost you are I can work with you to gain mastery!
