About Cristiano

The student will be exposed to many opportunities for conversation, where from one theme can create opportunities to express themselves in the English language. With this method I was able to learn other languages, and I bring it to my students in a natural way.

About the lesson

I have started to have contact with English since I was 12 years old, ie it is a language that has been part of my routine for over 10 years. I have been teaching English for over 4 years, this experience being in language schools and private lessons. I have TOEFL, IELTS and FCE certification and experience abroad (Europe). I joined the market as a teacher at the same school where I achieved fluency, with a very large focus on communication. After this experience I joined another language school where I began to conclude that the student absorbed a lot of content especially when having fun and in relaxed conversation situations. I began to reflect on how a person acquires a new language, and I began to devote myself to learning German and Spanish. With this experience I was able to put myself more easily in the student's place, and I understood much more clearly how this process works. I realized that I learned a lot by exposing myself in conversationally focused situations, either speaking or just listening. Literally approaching the process of how we acquire our native language, Portuguese, that is, we learn first of all just by listening to our parents and relatives speaking. It is fascinating to know a new world with a new language, it is like a key that reveals a new universe, full of culture, customs, history, literature, etc., etc. I really want my students to be able to get to know this universe as well, that much more than giving you a new job opportunity or having more opportunities to travel abroad, makes you see the world in a whole new way.
