About Fernanda
I have quite a few years of experience teaching English, but I don't follow a strict method.I can adapt the lessons to the needs of the student.
I teach a 'regular curriculum' (grammar and vocabulary, with exercises and fixation activities) - if you don't have a teaching material of your preference, I am prepared to provide materials.
I have a lot of experience with academic writing in English, so I also teach academic and general writing skills.
But if all you need is someone to talk to in English, I love conversation sessions! I can help you with pronunciation and accent training, as well as fluency and overall confidence in English.
Oh and I am very flexible with hours!

My name is Fernanda, I have a Bachelor's degree in Law (UFPR), but I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Diplomacy at the Australian National University (ANU).
I currently live in Australia, where I study and work as a tutor at the ANU, but I will be in Brazil for 4 months during Summer. This means I will only be available for face-to-face classes between early November and late February. But will still be available for webcam lessons after this.
I have been teaching English for many years. As I mentioned in the ad, I am not very strict about methodology, but I am very disciplined and organized. My classes are not boring, I promise! I try to be creative and bring new activities for each class.
In addition to English, I am fluent in French and Spanish and I am currently learning Indonesian, so I still live the frustrations (and the joys!) of studying a foreign language. I can definitely sympathise with my students as they brave the new worlds of a foreign language.
