About Françoise

Françoise is an Honors Graduate (Dean’s List) from Toronto’s Ryerson Theatre School, and has performed in many varied roles in film, TV, and theatre across Canada as well as England and the United States. Recently, Françoise reprised her iconic role of Lucrezia Borgia at the Tarragon Theatre, a role she originated in David Copelin's award-winning play 'Bella Donna'. She has also played lead feature roles as Felicity in the acclaimed Colleen Wagner genocide play 'The Living' at the Toronto Theatre Centre, and the classic Mamet role of Dave Moss from 'Glengarry Glen Ross' at Toronto's popular Indie Theatre space, The RedSandcastle - both sold-out runs. Françoise has distinguished herself in interpreting both classical and contemporary roles including Calphurnia in BRAVO TV's 'Julius Caesar'; she played the lead role in the independent short film 'The Unstrung Ear' directed by Ryan Redford which was screened at the Montreal Film Festival; the lead role of Alcandre in 'The Illusion' at the Stratford Festival Theatre; the Nurse in 'Romeo and Juliet' at the prestigious Minack Theatre in England; Cassius in 'Julius Caesar' at the RedSandcastle, and Merteuil in 'Dangerous Liaisons' at Toronto's Alumnae Theatre.Françoise is an Honors Graduate (Dean’s List) from Toronto’s Ryerson Theatre School. In addition to her stage and screen talents, one of Françoise's lethal weapons is her warm and resonant voice. She has been selected as the principal voice performer for multiple national commercial campaigns including Mercedes-Benz, Tide, Crystal Lite, Rogers, and Gaviscon.

Private Sessions taught Online Using Skype Each session includes:
• coaching and accent reduction practice adapted to your personal needs
• a practice tape provided after each session on problem sounds and phrases encountered
• option for you to record entire sessions

30 minute introductory session for $40.00 (First session)
Fees: $70/hr for 16 sessions or more
$75/hr for 10 sessions
$80/ hr for 6 sessions

Instructor Bio: Professional stage actor and voice-over artist with 25 years’ experience. (Voice of Mercedes Benz, Tide, Rogers, Chrystal Lite, Gaviscon, Woolite and more).

Perfect! I’m an entrepreneur who recently moved to Canada. My work mostly involves working with clients across North America. Since I’m on the sales/business side of things, I’ve always felt the need to have a neutral North American accent to be able to connect better with my clients.

I discovered Françoise on Superprof website and after a quick demo session, immediately signed up for 16 sessions with her.
Françoise has been absolutely phenomenal in helping me neutralize my Indian accent and sound more like a native english speaker.

Françoise is very professional and is able to pick up all the subtle variations in pronunciation, rhythm and flow. After assessing my capabilities and shortcomings, Françoise was able to customize the sessions according to my specific needs - focusing on the areas which needed most work. Françoise does a very good job of explaining how to overcome the shortcomings and even helps practice during the session with her. The tips and tricks for practicing after the session have helped me pick things up pretty quickly and I feel like I’ve made good progress in a few weeks time.
