About Mathura
My name is Mathura, and I am a First Class Honours graduate in Biomedical Science. During my degree, I completed an integrated NHS placement at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, and I now work full-time in a private histology lab in Central London. I have a strong passion for teaching Maths, Science, and English, which were some of my favourite subjects in school and remain central to my academic and professional background. Having completed my secondary education relatively recently, I have a strong understanding of the curriculum and exam requirements, especially in Science, which I studied in depth through my degree. My teaching approach is personalised to each student's learning style, and I encourage active participation to make lessons engaging and effective. I am committed to helping students build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their academic goals.

Using individually catered methodologies to support students, I am able to focus in on what is needed for improvement. I use exam questions to support revision, making sure that the important points are highlighted and can answer a question completely. I also use flashcards and interactive quizzes as well as a lecture format sometimes, when it is necessary. The typical length of a lesson is 1 hour, however, I do have students who come to me multiple times a week. I have taught for 5 years now, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English. I have had students leave to go to University as well as students who just started their GCSE pathways. Some of my students have gone onto Oxbridge Maths and Physics, as I also support their interviews. My lessons are initially for GCSE students but I usually begin at year 5 all the way to year 13.

Mathuras is a complete magnetism of enthusiastic direct and nurturing tutoring. My son had challenges with areas of Chemistry and his confidence wasn’t great.
Mathura changed that in a couple of months building up to his A levels.
She’s a super star, trusted and verified.Mathura was my GCSE Maths and Science tutor, who tutored me from year 7 up to year 12. Mathura is an incredibly supportive individual and tutor. She helped me in a wide range of ways, providing strict lesson plans and supporting revision resources. I would absolutely recommend her to other students struggling.
I know Mathura through sixth form and she was very helpful, helping many people (including myself) for interviews for medicine courses and Oxbridge. She has experience as a tutor as well, and is amazing at supporting students.
